Dina Meyer was born in Forest Hills Queens New York. Before she finished her junior year, she relocated out of Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. Her brothers include Gregory, her elder brother, and Evan. Her first exposure to the entertainment industry came when she did some modeling at the age of 9 to sixteen. Ron Stetson trained her in the acting techniques of Sanford Meisner at The Neighborhood Playhouse. This took about three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the actors that received this instruction. Her debut role was Beverly Hills 90210 which forced her to move to Los Angeles. The first film she appeared in was Johnny Mnemonic. She did all the stunts of the movie, and it helped establish her as an athletic as well as an actress. Through her agent who also represents Matt LeBlanc she scored a part as a guest on Friends.
